If there is a restaurant in New Hope, Pa., or Lambertville you are dying to try, or a favorite that you only save for special occasions, next week is the time to indulge.

The third annual New Hope/Lambertville Restaurant Week begins Sunday and continues through March 23 with 28 restaurants participating. The restaurants, which range from Peruvian to Italian to homespun American, will offer three-course prix fixe meals in two price categories: $29.95 for fine dining establishments and $19.95 for casual eateries. The three courses are soup, salad or appetizer followed by entree and dessert.

Restaurant Week has become popular with locals as well as the tourists who book rooms in the river towns and visit different restaurants each night.

Sample Restaurant Week menus for many restaurants are available on the websites VisitNewHope.com and Lambertville.org. They include the menu at Rick’s Italian in Lambertville, where the $19.95 meal begins with a salad and is followed by a choice of seven entrees: homemade beef brasciole stuffed with aged provolone cheese, penne vodka, pencil points with prosciutto and asparagus, cheese or spinach ravioli with marinara sauce, butternut squash ravioli or spaghetti and meatballs. Dessert is the final course.
